Triathlon Malta teams up with ITU and ETU to hold a Technical Officials & Race Organisers Community Seminar in Malta
While Triathlon Malta's development has grown steadily in the past years, there was an area which somehow lacked proper investment and growth in this programme. This is the Technical aspect especially when it comes to Technical Officials and multisport Race Organisers credentials.
For this reason, in the last weeks, Triathlon Malta came together with the International Triathlon Union and the Development Committee of the European Triathlon Union to fill this gap.
Triathlon Malta is very excited to announced that it will hold the first ever International Triathlon Union MALTA TECHNICAL OFFICIALS & EVENT ORGANIZERS COMMUNITY SEMINAR here in Malta in June.
This officially accredited seminar will be organised on the span of two full days (approx. 9am to 6pm) : Friday 7 June (public holiday) and Saturday 8 June, with the practically officiating of the first race of the Birkirkara St Joseph Sports Club - Triathlon Section Sprint Triathlon Series.
The facilitator of this Seminar is Mr Paul Groves who is one of the most experienced Technical Delegates in the ITU and ETU Circuit, and who also happens to be the ETU Media coordinator, apart from a huge supporter of Triathlon Malta!
All those who organise Multisport Races in Malta, as well as those who help as marshals and officials during such races are encouraged to attend and become a Certified and Licenced Technical Official. Moreover, some slots will be reserved for those who would like to get involved in TriathlonTechnical Officiating.
Following this Seminar, Triathlon Malta will be licencing Technical Officials and create opportunities for them to progress into higher levels of ITU Certifications in the near future.
All those who would like to be part of this exciting programme are to enter their details on the form at this link : https://goo.gl/forms/XCvnz2tzRpRPRXC72
