![]() The Malta Triathlon Federation would like to congratulate its triathlete and National Triathlon Team member, Graham Borg on his crowing as the Overall Champion of the First Edition of the Aeolian Olympic Triathlon which was held today, Sunday 1 June 2014, on the island of Vulcano, Sicily under the auspices of the Federazione Italiana Triathlon. Graham Borg was first out of the water and into T1, and after losing some places during transition, he recovered by a very solid bike segment and a saw off the competition while claiming topmost podium place by more than 30 seconds over the second athlete. Third overall and first in his category was Triathlon Malta National Team member, David Galea, who has been recently crowned as Malta's National Long-Distance Champion. Other Maltese partecipants in the race were Gejtu Catania who came in 18th place and Jude Zammit in 20th place.
